ThemenGeschichtsPfad – a thematic history trail
The 'National Socialism in Munich' ThemenGeschichtsPfad (thematic history trail) is published under the auspices of the cultural history trails (KulturGeschichtsPfade) of the City of Munich, whereby the circular tour past places of historical importance, is especially noteworthy. Covering several districts, it provides basic information about 'National Socialism in Munich', an issue of central importance for the city. The reading material, which is combined with a circular tour and a longer audio version, offers a comprehensive introduction to the theme and is intended to encourage the participant to take a deeper interest in the subject-matter. The ThemenGeschichtsPfad is published within the framework of the preparations for the planned Munich Documentation and Education Centre for the History of National Socialism.
